The jurors praised the high quality of work submitted but we could only invite a certain number of pieces and they had to make some hard decisions. Reminder: The work submitted and accepted must be the exact piece delivered. No substitutions are allowed. This insures the highest quality show for collectors.

Your work must be delivered to the La Conner Civic Garden Club, 622 So. Second Street, La Conner, WA 98257 between 10am and 5pm on Thursday, November 2. Sorry but we cannot accept shipped pieces. You may designate someone to deliver work and/or pick up unsold work, for you if needed. If so, please have them bring a copy of your acceptance letter.

The opening reception and awards presentations are on Friday, November 3 from 5pm – 9pm. The jurors will be present at the reception. The show continues on Saturday (10am-8pm) and Sunday (10am – 4pm). Please arrange to pick up any unsold work between 4 and 8pm Sunday. We look forward to an exciting show and hope to see you at the opening reception. If you have time to help we would appreciate assistance during setup on Thursday. Let us know if you plan to help.

In order to make Arts Alive a success we need volunteers in the following areas:

Set up and/or tear down – set up is Thursday all day and evening and Friday morning, Nov 2 and 3
 – tear down is Sunday late afternoon and evening, Nov 5

Sales checkout – the show runs:
Fri, Nov 3, 5-8:30
Sat Nov 4, 10-5
Sun Nov 4, 10-3 

Wine and Beer sales – for the opening reception on Fri, Nov 3, 5-8:30.  2 people needed.  You will be trained online.

Food – We would like someone (or 2) who will get the food and set up the food area for the opening on Friday night.  Hot and cold drinks will be available on Sat and Sun.  One person to oversee the drinks each day would be helpful.
