I joined Skagit Artists Together in 2004 a year after its formation. I have been involved in the development of this artistic group for 6 years. In November my term as president will end and I will assume the role of Past President on the Board. After reflection, I am proud to be part of an artist group that has contributed to the community and made and will continue to make a difference in bringing awareness of the visual arts to Skagit County

Skagit Artists Together is the voice of the visual arts community in Skagit Valley. We are fulfilling our mission statement through diverse programs and events.

·         Professional development workshops

·         Artists presentations and professional development at membership meetings

·         Expanding our website with featured artists of the month, call to artists and members links

·         Partnership with The Museum of Northwest through administrating Art Family Art Days

·         Art Show at the Depot

·         7 Th Annual Studio Tour

·         Furthering our commitment to the environment by keeping it clean and green at Padilla Bay where we have our meetings.

As we strive to grow and expand as artists and as an artistic organization setting high standards is essential reaching them is our goal.
