Each painting is a journey, it has its own path, some are completed in one afternoon, and some take years and even decades. I am in a constant struggle between spontaneity, quickness of strokes, and balancing all that energy with oneness, harmony and minimal statements. I strive to create unique images that are personal yet universal; to create paintings that are running and yet standing still; near and yet far away.

I love to paint bold images and than let the liquid paint dance across the canvas. Then two or three times a year I let it all go; the challenges and struggles. I put aside the abstract work and glue old music paper to canvas. I blend the elements: sky, clouds, water, earth and allow my paintings to sing.
